Training/Certification

Change of direction 70-662 TS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuring

A few months back i decided to buckle down this year on my certifications as i haven’t really done any since taking 70-647 & 70-649 exams. My first exam that i wanted to tackle was 70-236 which is the TS:Exchange Server 2007, Configuring exam.

When i started studying for this exam properly a few weeks back it was always on my mind that the Exchange 2010 exams were due for release soon. What i didn’t realise that they had already been released! 70-662 (TS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2010, Configuring) was released back in October 2009.

So i have set myself a target date of 4 weeks to take the exam. I shall be using the following study resources:

I have a Proliant ML115 G5 loaded with 8GB of RAM and 2 x SATA disks that i will be using to do the labs with. I currently have running a 2008 R2 Domain Controller, Windows 7 client with Office 2010 beta installed, an Exchange 2010 Server and a Exchange 2007 Server running.

I shall try to aim to do about 4-5 hours studying per day before and after work.

Wish me luck!!
